Due Diligence
As a regulated business, we are required to comply with the relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-financing of terrorism (CFT) regulations where we operate. Therefore, we must diligently conduct “know your client” checks to verify the identity, suitability and risk profile of every prospective client. We must hold documentation which includes exact wording and specific certification.
Client Onboarding
Following satisfactory compliance, we are then able to provide clients with the support and services in accordance with the terms of our service agreement.
Ongoing Monitoring
To meet the ongoing obligations under the AML/CFT regulations, we must conduct a periodic review of each client relationship. Any deficiencies that exist must be remediated and thus we may request additional information or documents.
